Target Audience

We first asked what the age of everyone who took the survey was, we did this because age influences movie preferences, also when we look at the results we know what age group dominated the results; this is also the reason we asked about gender, different genders have different preferences. Our next question was do you enjoy horror movies, we came up with this question because we wanted to know what the people who took this surveys initial thoughts on horror movies. We then asked what everyone's favorite sub-genre when it comes to horror. We asked this because we wanted to know what would be most liked when it we started planning our two minute film opening. We then asked what everyone thought the scariest part of horror movies was to them, this helps us know what keeps the plot interesting. We then listed popular horror movies and asked which was their favorite was, this helps us know which concepts are the best and most loved. Our last question we came up with was what do you no...

My Film Opening Project - Horror & Katie Villalon

I choose to work with my friend Katie for the film opening.  I choose to work with her because she is one of my close friends and I love her ideas. We started talking about this and our conversations just flowed so well. We are on the same page and we both respect each other so we will listen to each other opinions and ideas.

They the low angle of her legs in the water add fear, especially when she is getting dragged down and fighting, then silence and a beach are the next shot what strategies ar...

MY 4 MASTER EDITS

https://youtube.com/shorts/i6bmHAE5vz4?si=ooCq6dy1yQI34Edd Parallelism- This shot demonstrates parallelism by creating a parallel between before make and the after math of doing your makeup. The sound is a song for a lipsync, this is to make a smoother transition. Symbolism- This shot demonstrates symbolism by relating the dripping faucet to the pressure of the shower. This may symbolize the little water drops can build up and cause a shower full of those droplets. I didn’t add any sounds to make it clear of the amount of water. This emphasizes the symbolism when the only sound heard in the second clip is wind.    Contrast- This shot demonstrates contrast by having the first clip just brushing teeth and the second tte sound of the soap bottle .    Simultaneity- This shot demonstrates simultaneity by cutting between two places. I wasn’t able to film this since I was alone.   Leitmotif- This shot demonstrates leitmotif by taking a continuous song sound and ...
